We work with supported EEPROM, MCU and flash memories in ECUs, BCMs, SRS modules, instrument clusters and other automotive electronics.
Available service outcomes
- Data read and backup: read supported memory and provide the agreed backup file.
- Data recovery attempt: attempt to recover accessible data from a faulty or corrupted module.
- Recovered-data transfer: write agreed recovered data to a compatible customer-supplied donor when separately confirmed.
The listed £120 price covers one agreed supported bench data-reading and backup procedure on one supplied module. Complex recovery, multiple memory devices, donor-module writing or additional repair work may require a separate quotation. We will obtain your approval before any additional chargeable work.
You must send
- The module or PCB to be read
- A clear description of the required data or outcome
- A donor module only when transfer has been agreed
- Your order number and contact details
Possible deliverables
- Your original module or PCB returned
- Agreed data file supplied electronically
- Original and donor returned after an agreed transfer
- Recovery findings where data cannot be obtained
Compatibility and recovery limits
Support depends on the exact processor, memory device, security method and condition of the module. Data recovery is an attempt and cannot be guaranteed where memory is physically damaged, encrypted, overwritten or unreadable. Contact us with label and PCB photographs before ordering if you are unsure.
Service limitations
- This listing does not include a donor module or replacement control unit.
- A successful data read does not prove the module or vehicle is otherwise fault-free.
- Vehicle diagnosis, removal/refitting, coding, calibration and unrelated repairs are not included.
- We will not source parts or carry out additional chargeable work without your approval.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits rights or liability that cannot legally be excluded under applicable UK consumer law.
