How to arrange the postal service

2. Have your original module removed using the relevant manufacturer procedures by a suitably qualified person.
3. Pack securely in anti-static protection and a strong padded box; protect the connectors. Include your order number, contact details, vehicle information and fault description.
4. Confirm the delivery address and send the parcel using tracked postage. You arrange and pay for inbound delivery.
5. GEM assesses the supplied unit and carries out the supported, agreed work. If the required procedure is unsuitable, further action is discussed first.
6. The supplied module is returned using the applicable return-shipment service. Review return costs and available cover at checkout.

Ask for the current turnaround estimate before posting. Timing depends on module condition, support and workload; no fixed completion date or successful outcome is guaranteed.

The limits of postal testing

The complete vehicle is not available during a postal assessment. The service cannot verify external wiring, connected components or every in-vehicle operating condition. Vehicle diagnosis, removal/refitting, coding and calibration are excluded unless expressly agreed. A severely damaged or unsupported module may not be repairable.
